Great day at Yorkshire Pole Championship 2015

 Yorkshire Pole Championship was held on Saturday 20th June at Hull University Staff House Hull University and was organised by the lovely Lisa Oxtoby and her helpful assistants.  

The judges included Annalisa Muresu Annalisa who won the Instructor Category at UKPPC 2013 UKPPC, Charlotte Robertson Miss Pole Dance UK 2014 Miss Pole Dance, Kassia Portas, Daniel Rosen Dan Rosen who competed earlier in the year at World Pole Dance in Beijing World Pole Dance,Leah Rose Clark winner of Professional category at Polenastics Competiton in 2013 Leah Rose, and Stacey Snedden from Herts and Dance Fitness and X Pole Herts Dance.

The competition was opened up to all pole schools in the UK not just those in Yorkshire and has 5 categories, beginner, intermediate, advances, professional and doubles.

The crowd were treated to guest performances from some of the judges and received an amazing and appreciative reception.

Our own instructor Lisa Hammond competed and took 2nd place in the Professional category, well done Lisa!!

Lisa has been a coach with the Treefrogs who are Derby University Pole and Aerial Arts Society Treefrogs. .

Lisa Hammond our Instructor at Pole Dance Derby - Studio Deplacer home of PoleSilks has now completed her degree (2.1!) is competing as our representative for the last time at Yorkshire Pole Championship and is moving to Chesterfield where she will continue her pole journey teaching for Lorna Thomas at Pole Athletes .
